(monkeh)Tweet Twitter API Issue: Special characters not encoded when using postUpdate function

Name: Special characters not encoded when using postUpdate function
ID: 12
Project: (monkeh)Tweet Twitter API
Type: Bug
Area: Code
Severity: High
Status: Open

Description: When I post a status update using the postUpdate function (#DomesticViolenceAwarenessMonth - It Shouldn't Hurt To Go Home) I receive an error stating "Not able to authenticate you". If I remove the apostrophe, the post goes through successfully. If I try and urlEncode the post, the encoding shows up in the post. Your hints for the function state "URL encode as necessary" but when I do, no decoding happens.

Just checking to see if there's been any progress on this issue. We're seeing more of the same problems show up regarding different characters passed into the post.

I am currently having the same issue. I have sent a message in GIT Issues as well. Is there any progress on the issue?
